Dr. Mascoli graduated from La Salle University, Philadelphia, PA. He earned his doctorate in optometry and a degree in visual science from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Upon completion of his doctorate, he served in the United States Public Health Service at the Indian Hospital on the Standing Rock Sioux Indian Reservation in Fort Yates, ND. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander and received such honors as Unit Commendation ribbon and medal. As a director of vision services, he also served as a clinical preceptor for Pacific University College of Optometry. After resigning his commission, he joined Fava and Maria Eye Associates in 1994. He provides complete eye exams at the laser eye center and eye treatment practice, with a special expertise in low vision and contact lenses.
